Happy Cooking with LG SolarDom: Nutella chocolate chips cookies

I love baking, and lately I use my LG SolarDom for baking a lot.

It's easy to use and time for preheating  the oven is shorter, only 7-10 minutes is enough.  The other benefit from baking with LG SolarDom is less hot spot, the pan will be rotated so you don't need to rotate the pan while baking and the cookies are equally baked. Using convection oven is tricky if you never used it before, remember that you need to reduce the temperature from the recipe that use convention oven for 15-20°C. The baking time will be shorter or longer depends on each recipe.
This cookie is quite soft, but not cakey, you can choose the stage of the softness by yourself, shorter baking time the cookie will be soft and fragile, longer the cookie will firmer. Remember to let the cookie cool in the pan until it set before moving it to the wire rack, or you have a chance to break the cookie.
With a lot of Nutella, malted milk powder and chocolate chips, this cookie is sweet and chocolately. Serve it with a cup of cold milk to turn yourself into a little kid or a cup of hot tea (or coffee) for adult treat.

Nutella chocolate chips cookies
Make 21-22 pieces

 170g ....................................... All purpose flour
30g ......................................... Malted milk powder (I use Horlicks, you can use Ovaltine white malt too)
1/2tsp .................................... Baking soda
1/2tsp .................................... Salt
115g ........................................ Unsalted butter
40g ........................................ Granulated sugar
170g ....................................... Dark brown sugar
200g ...................................... Nutella, or other brands of chocolate hazelnut spread
1 .............................................. Egg
1tsp ......................................... Vanilla extract
115g ......................................... Chocolate chips
85g ........................................... Hazelnuts
Malted milk powder
Select convection oven function, set the temperature to 165°C. set timer to 20 minutes, push start to start the oven.

After the oven heat for 10 minutes, put the hazelnuts on a baking sheet, and place in the oven, roast for 6-7 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and pour onto a tea towel, rub to remove the skin (you don't need to remove all of the skin it's impossible ^^).
Coarsely chop the hazelnuts and let the nuts cool.

Line baking sheets with baking paper.
Mix together the flour, baking soda, and malted milk powder together in a bowl.
Beat the butter until soft, add the salt and both kinds of the sugar, beat until light in color, add the Nutella, beat to combine.
Add the vanilla extract and egg, beat to combine.
Pour the flour mixture, chopped hazelnuts and chocolate chips into the bowl, fold to combine.
Use a scoop to potion the cookies dough, (mine is about 2 inch), place the dough on the baking sheet, 3 inch apart (the cookie will spread  while cooking).

Select convection oven function, set the temperature to 165°C. set timer to 10 minutes, push start to start the oven (this is for preheat the oven).
Bake the cookie in batch, for 13-15 minutes or until puff and no longer shine. Remove from the oven , let the cookie cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes or until firm enough to be moved, the cookie will flatten while cooling.
Let the cookie cool completely on a wire rack.
